There is a very good book on all the antique marbles and treasures, statues and friezes that have been taken out of Turkey (Anatolia) by Europeans (English, Austrian, French, German, Dutch) and Americans by Yaşar Yilmaz. How rich and wonderful would it be if these hoarded treasures were still in their original place? It would be a more historical world one could perceive, instead of a stolen past.
