Reading
The Human Condition by Hannah Arendt in university at 17 was the most important book i discovered on philosophy and life and life in the Atomic, technological age. Only very belatedly do i now delve into her ‘classic’ work. Only to discover that it contains the most perceptive treatments of fascinating figures such as Benjamin Disraeli and Marcel Proust. There is apparently a time for everything, even if it feels like living backwards.
