A loong cycling journey from Brooklyn to Jorusalom, where the O’s are bicycle wheels, continued into Egypt, 1st to the climate conference COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, on to the pyramids in Giza, Abusir and Saqqara and then up the Nile soourcewards.

    The temple of Abu Simbel

    Apparently, from what i read, the grand statues, all 4 of them, represent Ramses II. The faces look different though. So yesterday when i was looking at them, i was wondering who they were.

    On the other side of the dam, looking North towards Lake Nasser, or the Nubian Sea as people here like to call it, commemorating the many Nubian village that were submerged by it.
