A loong cycling journey from Brooklyn to Jorusalom, where the O’s are bicycle wheels, continued into Egypt, 1st to the climate conference COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, on to the pyramids in Giza, Abusir and Saqqara and then up the Nile soourcewards.

The Monastery of St Simon “The Tanner” is recent, as are the religious reliefs

There are 2 churches, one is under the rocks and indoor, the other is under a different rockface and outdoor.

The funniest part was discovering that above one of the rock churches on the plateau are 2 football fields, where games were being played ⚽️
